Here’s a first look at the Player Scores from the 2026 WTC applications. We’re sharing this now so everyone can see how the scores landed and who’s in the mix for captain consideration.
Later today, we’ll be posting two docs detailing the full player scores and a consolidated list of event placements pulled from player resumes on the website.
What’s Coming Next
-Captains get selected from those who opted in, ranked by Player Score. Ties were decided by highest cumulative points from First, Second, and Third Place event placement.
-Each captain gets up to 72 hours to draft 4 players and build their squad.
A Few Key Notes
-We’re selecting FOUR captains this year thanks to increased team availability .
-Final team counts depend on international slot allocation determined by the Global WTC Committee
-Alternates will be chosen once those slots are confirmed. If teams get reduced, impacted players who want to be alternates will roll into the alternate pool.
